Quilting / medium weight cottons are suitable for a wide range of projects! The obvious one being quilting but they are also widely used for dressmaking that require shape such as shirts and a-line dresses. Quilting weight fabrics are also suitable for making cushions and bags although they won't stand up to the same abuse as heavier weight fabrics. Whilst it can be used for curtains, bear in mind quilting weight fabrics are usually only 110cm wide and you will need to take extra care to select suitable linings.
