Wow what a minefield buying fabric can be! You're not alone if you have a question though, chances are someone has been there before and so we have put together some of our most frequently asked questions to help you. If your question isn't here please don't hesistate to contact us via email or telephone. Due to a change in circumstances, availability on phone is limited but please leave us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
The price displayed is per half metre OR per unit (eg panel / items). If you add 1 to your basket of fabric which is not a panel, you will receive one half metre piece. If you have 2 in your basket you will receive a one metre piece. If you add 3 to your basket you will receive a 1.5m piece and so on.
We aim to dispatch within 2 working days on orders placed before noon. If you are in a rush for your fabric and you place your order after noon just give us a call to check if your order can still make dispatch and we will do our best to accommodate you. Collection times for Fastway dispatches is very early so tend to take an extra 24hours to standard dispatch dates.
Yes you can order a sample here. It is a generic product, just send us a message to let us know which fabric it is you'd like a sample of!
If you would like a full bolt ordered in, please let us know and we will work out a price. Bolts are generally 10-18 metres.
As long as fabric is not cut and is in same condition we like to be able to bring it back into stock, unless this has been specially ordered for you.
The majority of our fabrics are quilting weight. These aren't ideal for curtains and upholstery as they are lighter weight (similar to a good quality duvet) but if you have fallen in love with the pattern it is possible with lining. The smaller the window the more you will get away with the weight. Remember quilting weight cottons are usually only 110cm wide so you are likely to need more widths and can sometime have large pattern repeats. Speak to whoever is making your curtains or upholstery for specific advice. We have ahome decor sectionand the fabric in this section is heavier and usually a wider width (but not all) than quilting cottons so is good to use for curtains
Yes - if you place an order for 2m it will arrive as one piece. In the very rare occasion we can't do this we will be in contact before we ship.
No. We now have an option to pay by credit card or debit card at the checkout stage as well as an option to pay by cheque and paypal
Yes we can now take payment over the phone! We would ask that you checkout with the 'cheque' option selected so that we can see your order on this side and then give us a call and we can take payment. If this is a problem you can just give us a call, it will just take a bit longer to process all your info.
Yes that is no problem. As we are based in Northern Ireland we have only enabled collection option for BT postcodes so as to avoid confusion.
Yes we ship all over your world. You should get a price for shipping at the checkout stage once you input your address. If there is any problem with your shipping cost you will see a message asking to contact the office.
Panels will be cut as a continuous piece as standard where possible. So if you order 3x 60cm panels of the same fabric you will receive them as one 1.8m piece.
